The Sanctuary Blog

The Sanctuary Blog is a collection of transcriptions from Steve’s class satsangs, preserving the spoken teachings as they were originally shared. Together, they explore the timeless wisdom of yoga as it meets the realities of modern life.

Although this represents only a small part of the teachings shared at the Sanctuary over the years, it brings together many of the core themes explored in our more recent Sadhana Sessions. Drawing on the Yoga Sutras, the Himalayan Yoga tradition of Steve’s guru, Swami Yogeshwarananda, and the wisdom of the great yogic masters, these teachings offer yoga in its truest sense: as a living path of transformation.

These words are one expression of a timeless stream of wisdom, passed from teacher to student across generations. If they inspire you to practise, enquire and discover that wisdom for yourself, then they have served their purpose.
