Earth Wisdom

Wild Medicine & Foraging

Earth wisdom is the ancient understanding of our interconnectedness with nature, guiding us to live in harmony with the cycles of the Earth and respect its delicate balance.  By aligning our energies with these natural rhythms, we can cultivate a reciprocal relationship with land and with all living beings.

Your invitation is to join us at the Ashram as we explore ever deeper understandings of these cycles, riding the energetic waves of the seasons, year upon year.  We use the healing power of wild and medicinal plants to support us on our journey.

The Medicine Garden

We have cultivated a thriving and enchanting medicine garden that brims with healing plants. The garden is an oasis of vibrant medicine, a testament to the power of nature's remedies.  Each plant is carefully chosen for its therapeutic properties.  As a herbalist and naturopath, Jules enjoys harvesting these plants and crafting them into herbal remedies to restore balance and vitality.

“Thank you for such a wonderful morning, there is a very special energy in your herb garden; it did feel magical... Wonderful to have useable products from our workshop." ~ Lyn

Wild Medicine Workshops

The garden serves as an educational space where Jules offers courses and workshops on herbal medicine and holistic healing.  Surrounded by the plants, we engage in hands-on activities, such as identifying and harvesting herbs, preparing herbal infusions and tinctures, and learning about their specific medicinal properties.  Through these courses, the garden becomes a space not only for cultivation but also for the growth and nurturing of knowledge and community.

“Thank you so much for today, what a way to spend Midsummer's Day. It was liberating to lose myself in such a mindful and communal activity.”  ~ Nina
